School Uniform

The school dress guidelines apply throughout the school, with a uniform providing a sense of identity, as well as reasonably priced, practical clothing.

Sweatshirts, Cardigans, polo shirts and bags are available from the School Office. Please download a school uniform order formand hand it into the school office.

Boys and Girls ~ PE kit – Indoors

  • A named fabric drawstring bag is required to hold the P.E. Kit
  • Plain black / navy shorts with plain white T-shirt
  • Girls may wear plain sports trousers and long sleeve sweatshirts
  • Indoor P.E. is usually carried out in bare feet or ‘pumps’

Outdoor Games – Key Stage 2 children

  • Tough trainers need to be worn on the field (in addition to your child’s school shoes)
  • Long sleeved top or track suit for when it is cold.

Footwear

Sensible, well-fitted shoes are preferable. For safety reasons, fashion shoes, including platform or high heeled shoes, open toed sandals or flip-flops should not be worn. The school is mainly carpeted and we do our best to maintain this in good order. It is important, therefore, that an additional pair of shoes is available in the winter months, particularly for outdoor PE.

Please ensure that all your child’s clothes are named. We cannot stress enough how much time, and upset, can be saved if all personal items are clearly marked.

Jewellery, watches and other valuables

No jewellery must be worn in school other than studs in pierced ears. This rule is enforced because bracelets, necklaces and dangling earrings can be a danger at playtime and during P.E. lessons. The school will accept no responsibility for accidents caused by the wearing of jewellery. Watches may be worn, but they are brought into school at the child’s own risk.

“Our vision is to provide an excellent primary education that gives our children the very best chance of succeeding in life.”
