Welcome to Y6. We are excited that we are on this final stage of the Whiteways’ Learning Journey together.

Parents and carers, please know that every day we will ensure that your children are nurtured, and they are given the support and encouragement they need to be the best that they can be.

Y6 is the final year at Whiteways Primary before your children makes their move to secondary school. It is all about getting them ready for their big transition and helping them to reach their full potential.

Just like secondary school, our teaching model involves the children moving between classes to be taught by different members of our teaching team; this enables our pupils to access a curriculum that is personalised to them.
