Welcome to Year 3!

Hello and welcome to Year 3. This year is full of exciting learning for your children and we hope they enjoy their first year in Key Stage 2.

Children in Year 3 that are on Read Write Inc will bring home a different reading book every week. Please read these books every day with your child at home and practise the green story words, green speedy words and red words that are in the book. Children in Year 3 who do reciprocal reading will bring home spellings every week. These children will also be taking home reading books from school, and we encourage them to read every day for 10 minutes.
